Burn For You was the third single from INX's album The Swing and was released in July 1984. The album was the band's fourth and was more or less and experimental one. The Swing enjoyed long-term success on the Australian music charts, remaining in the Australian Top 50 selling albums for over 2 years. The single Burn For You also did well reaching #3 in the Australian charts. Both the album and the single remained relatively unknown in the UK and United States until their followup release, Listen Like Thieves, which made them a worldwide name.
