Another Yuletide treasure for you! I know I say many songs are one of my favourites, but this one truly is!! Captain Sensible's 1984 single, "One Christmas Catalogue" is not only, in my opinion, the top Christmas song of the 80's, but is also one of the best pop songs of the 80's. It's synth pop intermingled with overdubs of sound bytes from distant Christmas movies of the past, create a nostalgic overload. "One Christmas Catalogue" is a classic 80's track that deserves much more airplay during the holidays.
