In August 1984 Howard Jones release The 12" Album which was a collection of extended and remixed versions of his previous hits. On the compilation the new composition Like To Get To Know You Well was included and was released as a single. The single climbed to #4 on the UK Singles Chart is probably Jones' biggest hit. The track was included years later on the cd version of Jones' second studio album Dream Into Action.

This song also appeared in the film "Better Off Dead" and was used during the scene where John Cusak is reparing his Camaro.
