In 1984, two years after the success of their single Safety Dance and album Rhythm Of Youth, Canada's Men Without Hats released the album Folk Of The 80's (Part III). The track Where Do The Boys Go? was chosen as the lead single of only two from the album. The single was not as successful as Safety Dance but was a great stomping Europop record and a popular dance anthem at the time.The weird guitar solo on the recording had actually been done with the first completely programmable guitar effects rack.
